Greetings from Tom and Patty! Tom has been making great progress since his last update. He is talking very well now and he has such a good sense of humor in spite of his challenges. Tom has limited sight; however, just 3 days ago, he can now see figures about 12 feet away. He has a blind friend who works as a dispatcher with Yellow Cab. When Jimmy Lopez was applying for his job with Yellow Cab, David Buckner, Jimmy, and Tom were joking about Jimmy driving a cab. They invisioned Jimmy driving down the street with feelers on the cab. Jimmy would bounce from one curb to the next just noticing the feelers. Everyone on the street was warned that Jimmy was coming so get out of the way. The three of them were totally in stitches until they had tears running from their eyes. To this day, all three of them still get tickled over Jimmy driving for Yellow Cab. When Tom and I were talking about his limited vision, he carefully thought about the predicament. Then he said "Well, I can just go get a job with Jimmy at Yellow Cab." Tom's physical progress is very slow, some due to the stroke, some due to his age; however, we are still believing that he is a seeing, walking, talking, swallowing miracle in Jesus' name to declare the glory of God. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for Tom. We know that all of those prayers will not go unanswered. Thank you also for asking about Tom when I talk to you. You all are the greatest and we wish you blessings from the Lord. Have a great life, thank the Lord for giving you good health, and do the things necessary to keep your good health.
