Once again we come to the end of another year and where does the time go. All in all, it has been a good year and for me, it is ending on a better note than when it started.
For those of you who know my husband, Tom Turner, I want to let you know that he is continuing to improve on a daily basis. He is now able to get himself up to the side of the bed and lay himself down again. It is painfully slow and certainly looks funny; however, each time he does it, he gets better. Having a stroke and re-learning basic movements takes a lot of repetition much like a baby. Get up, fall down, laugh, and start again. I am so grateful that Tom has a good sense of humor about his condition. He still amazes me as he is doing a lot of what the doctors say he can’t do. I contribute all of his healing to the healing power of Jesus Christ. Without Jesus, Tom would not be making the progress he is making.
I want all of you to know how much I appreciate your prayers and good thoughts. Just know that they are working.
We are truly blessed to live in the United States of America. During the upcoming Christmas holiday, please take a moment to reflect on your life and the many blessings you have. Enjoy your families, take some time to rest, and get to know your neighbors – you’ll be glad you did.
I am looking forward to a fantastic new year. As we help others to be successful, we, in turn, will be successful.
I want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and may the Peace of the Lord be with you, now and always.
Patty Turner
